BOR INVENTORY PROJECT

Inventory of over 37,000 archaeological objects belonging to the Bureau of Reclamation over the span of two months. This position required close inspection of objects to reconcile numbering and documentation issues and updating object records accordingly. The inventory revealed duplicate numbers, missing objects, and physical inventory sheets with incorrect information and culminated in a report completed by myself and a colleague detailing the work completed, the issues discovered, and suggestions for the future documentation and inventory of that collection.

Gallery Inventory

Project to consolidate off-site storage spaces and improve tracking and artwork storage as well as gain detailed information related to artworks display-ready status. This involved unpacking all 115 objects to condition check artwork, gather framed and signed status and details, add inventory labels to pieces, and repack artwork (updating packing if necessary) and labeling packed work with object information for ease of future inventory and shipping. Information was tracked in a spreadsheet which was then used to update object records with the new information in the ArtLogic database.
